About New Zealand: “Aotearoa”

Aotearoa  (ah-oh-tay-a-RO-a) – Land of the Long White Cloud
New Zealand boasts some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes on the planet, all tucked into an area about the size of Colorado! Among these are pristine beaches, lush temperate rainforests, captivating limestone caves, colorful thermal pools, cascading mountain ranges, and the unforgettable southern fjords that poet Rudyard Kipling could only describe as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Despite New Zealand’s unfathomable beauty, our love affair with the country goes beyond the superficial. New Zealanders, or “Kiwis,” are among the most engaging and easy-going folk a traveler will ever have the pleasure of meeting. The country’s native Maori citizens contribute elements of culture, language, and art that will leave you longing for an intangible sense of mystery and intrigue long after you’ve returned home. In short, once you’ve traveled this land, the connection is unbreakable. Welcome to your New Zealand Thrive Adventure!
